P Moss is an author of twisted fiction whose stories have appeared in several magazines and anthologies, and his latest novel, Screwing Sinatra, will hit bookstores in September 2025. A film noir and pulp fiction enthusiast, he is also a prominent name in the nightlife world as owner of the popular Double Down Saloons in Las Vegas and New York City, and Frankie’s Tiki Room in Vegas.
The works of Mr. Moss must take up a lot of shelf space at The Writer’s Block. His other titles include Vegas Tabloid, Blue Vegas: Stories, Vegas Knockout, and Liquid Vacation, a nonfiction tie-in to his Frankie’s Tiki Room on West Charleston Blvd. The author clearly possesses a passion for the grittier, fantastical side of Las Vegas.

Native Las Vegan Dayvid Figler is a performer, author, and trial lawyer. He became one of the youngest lawyers in Nevada history after successfully taking the bar exam at age 23. In 2003, he began and served a short term as a Las Vegas municipal court judge after being appointed by Mayor Oscar B. Goodman. Apart from his success as one of the better-known criminal defense attorneys in Las Vegas, he has become a regarded legal commentator, one of the most quoted authorities on Las Vegas, and a prolific radio commentator and writer on a variety of topics related to Las Vegas.
