Visiting Gilcrease Orchard in Las Vegas is a favorite Fall time tradition for a lot of locals.

Gilcrease Orchard

Gilcrease Orchard in Las Vegas is a destination that locals flock to during the fall months to handpick pumpkins, apples, and other fresh seasonal produce. This local Las Vegas orchard provides families with a yearly tradition of visiting, strolling the grounds, and picking out their own pumpkins directly from the vine to take home. Gilcrease Orchard has been around since the early 1920s. This plot of land has provided the community with fresh fruits and vegetables for decades, making it a piece of beloved Las Vegas history!

What’s In Season

It’s still a little too early to go pumpkin picking, but it won’t be long before they’re covering the orchard’s grounds! In the meantime, other items that are ready to pick include:

Sunflowers for $2 each
Armenian Cucumbers for $1.50 per pound
Zucchini for $1.50 per pound
Summer Squash $1.50 per pound

Pick up some fresh apple cider, pear cider, homemade cinnamon sugar apple cider donuts, kettle corn, herbs, as well as apricot and peach jam. You can enjoy these treats upon your arrival or pick them up on your way out. Farm Stand prices:

Apple Cider Pint for $3
Apple Cider 1/2 Gallon for $7
Apricot Jam for $6
Peach Jam for $6
Herbs are $2.50 each
Kettle Corn $4 per bag

Hours & Location

The orchard is currently open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 7 to 10 am. Their hours change along with the seasons, so make sure to check their website when planning your outing. This is a wonderful fall time tradition for kids and families. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the orchard, so please leave them at home.
