Indulge in a One-Night-Only Wine Pairing at Aromi (15 Wines!)

Wine lovers, start salivating. Aromi Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar is hosting a special one-night-only wine tasting and pairing dinner featuring 15 wines! The exclusive March 10 event will highlight premium Italian pours from Vinifera Imports, including the Brigaldara Amarone Cavolo 2017.

The tasting experience is carefully paired with a four-course menu designed by Aromi chef Chef German Castellanos.

Dominic Nocerino, a well-known figure in the Italian wine scene, has curated the wine selection for the evening. Foodies and wine connoisseurs will appreciate that Vinifera Imports brings rare, estate-bottled wines from regions like Tuscany and Piedmont to the U.S. The rarity of their bottles means this event will showcase wines not commonly found together in one setting.

What To Expect

The night begins with an aperitif, the 2023 Destefani Prosecco Rosé. Guests will then enjoy a four-course menu paired with a distinct wine selection:

• Smoked Swordfish Carpaccio with pomegranate dressing and micro arugula, paired with 2015 Contesa Trebbiano d’Abruzzo


• Duck Lasagnette with foie gras and port sauce, paired with a rare 1997 Felsina Chianti Classico Riserva Rancia (from a 3L bottle)


• Lamb Ossobuco with horseradish mashed potatoes and root vegetables, also paired with the 1997 Felsina Chianti Classico Riserva Rancia


• Cannoli & Tiramisu Duo, complemented by the 2022 Icardi Moscato d’Asti.

Notable wines on the tasting menu include the Valdicava Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Madonna del Piano 2013, Fontodi Flaccianello 2019, and Brigaldara Amarone Cavolo 2017
