These are the five players that will be leading the Las Vegas Golden Knights to the promise land this season.
#5 Alec Martinez
Alec Martinez might not look like much with only one goal and eight assists so far this season, but he has a +/- of 9 as well. Not only is that the best of any current player on the Golden Knights, but it also makes him a critical defensive weapon in the clutch. Of course, he has no power play points and only a 5% shooting percentage, but he's one of their more solid players.
#4 Alex Tuch
While Alex Tuch isn't the most proficient or consistent player on the roster, his stats of seven goals and six assists is a pretty good showing to start out on. Maybe we're just not giving him enough credit here, but the man has been solid in helping this team's offense.  He even has two power play goals and four power play points, making him a deciding factor when his team has the advantage. Whether that continues or not remains to be seen.
#3 Mark Stone
Believe it or not, Mark Stone is the most proficient player on the Las Vegas Golden Knights, and while that isn't enough to give him the first spot on this list, it is enough to warrant acknowledgment. In fact, between netting four goals and 13 assists and holding a +/- of   7 this season, he's one of the most dangerous men on the ice. Yeah, he might have 13 penalty minutes, making him a bit of a liability during needed moments, he has one power play goal and 4 power play points in total. He is just someone that you can rely on, and that's what the Golden Knights need
#2 Robin Lehner and Marc Andre Fleury
What can be said about this legendary goalie tandem that hasn't already been beaten to death by every other sports pundit in America? The truth is that these two have only allowed 32 goals in the first 16 games of the season, giving their high-powered offense a chance to run up the score. The combo is also responsible for blocking 398 goals from reaching the net this year. If nothing else, these two will help the Golden Knights run the board all the way to the playoffs- and maybe even pull off the unthinkable this time around.
#1 Max Pacioretty
Max Pacioretty is a man that has led the Golden Knights to the promised land before but always seems to fall short when he got there. Whether that has to do with defenders cutting down his ability to get to the net or just penalty issues holding him back is anyone's guess, but he has trouble coming through. With that being said, however, Pacioretty is putting up rockstar-like numbers at a time when the Golden Knights absolutely need it.
As things stand, Pacioretty has eight goals and five assists, making him one of the strongest players on the entire time. Sure, he might only have a +/- of 5, but he makes up for that with only four penalty minutes so far this season.
